Terms of Service

Payment must be received in full prior to the course start date. You must pay each invoice we issue within 30 days starting on the date issued. If you book on any course within 30 days before the course is due to start, then payment is due immediately.  

All cancellations must be received in writing (email is acceptable) 28 calendar days before the start of the course and will be subject to an administration fee of £150 + GB VAT. Cancellations made after this date will be charged the full course registration fee.

Registrants who do not attend on the day will be considered ‘no shows’ and will be charged the full course registration fee.

Registrations can be transferred to another course and delegate substitutions may be made up to 10 working days before the course.  Transferres are only supported if, as a result, the course numbers are not reduced to less than 2 students, this is the viable minimum we require to run the course.

Confirmation of your booking will be emailed to you automatically on receipt of your booking. Full joining instructions, including programme timings and special instructions will be sent no later than one week prior to the course or immediately for those booking within one week of the course date. CSS Ltd will not be held liable for any transport or accommodation costs in the unlikely event of a course being cancelled.

Please note, due to circumstances beyond CSS Ltd’s control, speakers, venue, content and timings may vary. CSS Ltd reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule the event if necessary.  In the case of cancellation by CSS Ltd will issue a full refund of course fees.  In the event of a re-schedule course fees will be transferred to the new date. Delegates who cannot make the revised date should follow the cancellation or delegate substitution procedures above, delegates will not be required to request cancellation 28 days before the course if the new date makes this impossible. 

Photography and video 

On occasions, CSS Ltd takes photographs and videos which may be used to help promote our courses (both online and in print). By booking into a course/event you are confirming that you are aware of this and have no objections to your image or voice appearing in any material issued by CSS Ltd after the meeting. However, if for any reason you do not wish CSS Ltd to use your image or voice please let us know. 

By booking the course companies and delegates accept these terms and conditions.  All delegates agree to use the techniques taught and demonstrated for educational and research purposes only. CSS Ltd accept no liability for students using the techniques or tools for purposes that are illegal in the local in which they are used.

The GDPR imposes new obligations on organisations that control or process personal data and introduces new

rights and protections for EU citizens. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and we

strictly adhere to the provisions of all relevant Data Protection Legislation, including GDPR, ensuring all

personal data is handled in line with the principles outlined in the regulation that state:

CSS Ltd respect our customer and learner’s rights to data privacy and protection and as such we have revised our internal policies, procedures, working practices in order to meet the requirements of the GDPR.

We place a high priority on protecting and managing data in accordance with accepted standards and indeed helping our customers utilise our products and services to the same end.

CSS Ltd are committed to compliance with the GDPR as both a processor and controller of personal data and have established a working group to lead our GDPR implementation project and ensure compliance on an ongoing basis.
